Our Purpose

We recognize that much of what is passed off today as “Christianity” is neither Christ-centered nor pleasing to God.

In many places, the church has been reduced to little more than a social club, political action committee, or welfare society, even though the Lord has provided a blueprint for the church in His word.  (2 Timothy 1:13 )  Christians who take His sovereignty seriously will abide by what the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Colossians 3: 17.    At Park Hill, we’re dedicated to growing in our understanding of the simple pattern for New Testament Christianity and maintaining the 1st-century church here in 21st-century Fort Smith, Arkansas.

We are pleased that you have taken an interest in the Park Hill church of Christ.  We are part of the family of God and would rejoice to have you join us. We are simply Christians who are striving to become like the church of the Bible and follow Christ in all we do.

We seek to grow closer to God through a continuous study of the Bible and prayer.  We make application of what we’ve learned in our day to day lives in a practical way.  But it’s not just about us, we’re also enthusiastic about reaching the community around us with the Good News of life in Jesus Christ.
